Bayco Ovens Builds Burn-Off Oven for Skyjack in Guelph, Ontario

Bayco Ovens recently designed and built an industrial burn-off oven for Skyjack’s facility in Guelph, Ontario. The oven will be used to strip accumulated paint and powder coating from racks, helping Skyjack clean and return this essential equipment to service.
Removing Paint and Powder Coating from Industrial Racks
Racks used in industrial finishing processes gradually develop layers of paint and powder coating. As this material accumulates, it can interfere with grounding, coating quality and the proper handling of parts.
A burn-off oven—also known as a heat-cleaning oven or paint-stripping oven—uses a controlled thermal process to break down combustible coating buildup. The remaining residue can then be removed from the rack, allowing it to be inspected and reused.
Built for a 100-Pound-Per-Hour Processing Rate
With an interior working space of 120x240x120 inches, this burn-off oven built for Skyjack is designed to process 100 pounds of combustible material per hour. This capacity supports the demands of an industrial production environment where coated racks must be cleaned regularly and returned to operation.
